Raman Raj retired from the position of Chief Operating Officer(COO) of the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power. Before this Raj started and served as the president of his consulting firm, Resources Roundtable Consulting, which concentrated on utilities. Previously he worked for the L.A. Department of Water and Power from 1998 to 2001 and held the position of chief administration officer. Raj is highly acclaimed for his leadership abilities and his drive for renewable energy. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Osmania University, India; master’s degree in business administration from Hardin-Simmons College in Texas.

Michael R. Peevey is California's top utility regulator and is committed to maximizing energy efficiency and demand response opportunities and ensuring that California's environment is protected. He holds the position of President of the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) from 2002. From 1995 until 2000, Mr. Peevey was President of New Energy Inc, President of Edison International and Southern California Edison Company. He also serves as Chairman of the California Emerging Technology Fund. He has received many awards recognizing his leadership in developing energy policy including "Man of the Year" by the Power Association of Northern California; recognized with the Climate Action Champion Award by the California Climate Action Registry in 2004; and leadership recognition from American Council for Energy Efficiency (2005), the Utility Minority Access Program (2006), and the California Solar Energy Industries Association (2006). Mr. Peevey holds Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees in economics from the University of California, Berkeley.

S. David Freeman is an engineer, attorney, and author who has had many key roles in energy policy. He currently heads The Hydrogen Car Company and is a member of the Los Angeles Board of Harbor Commissioners. Freeman enjoys the reputation of a "Maverick for the environment" and has been termed an "eco-pioneer" for his environmental friendly leadership of the Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD). He had done a similar job at the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), changing the TVA focus from growth to conservation. He also headed other major energy organizations, including the New York Power Authority and the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (DWP).
